Time for a Haircut?

Shook off the helmet head after my morning ride. What to do about this hair?

@postaday 334; #postaday2011.

I loathe getting my haircut. I work with it, I try new things. It’s more work than it looks. I guess that’s the way it is with curly hair. Everyone thinks you’ve got it easy, but it’s a job. It looks best dried at the beach. Since my office is not at the beach, I try to recreate that wildly windy look with little success.

There are all kinds of products that contain salts in them to help curly heads achieve that spend-the-day-at-the-beach look. I know for a fact they don’t always work. The last time I was at the beach was when my friend Tina was visiting from New Jersey, and I met her and fellow Hawaii Jersey Gal MaryJean at Sandy Beach a few miles from home. I got there and my hair was ugh. So I said I gotta go into the ocean and fix my hair. As we sat in our chairs and yacked away, my hair dried in the windy sun, spiraling out of control just the way I like it.

But I’m getting to the point where my hair lies flat on top of my head and doesn’t bounce around. It drags down my face and my disposition. So I’m mulling new hair styles. Or maybe I only need a trim. I’m going in next Wednesday. Feel free to send me your ideas.
