Weight Watchers week 3 on PointsPlus

Down again! Yay!!!

Today is day 10 of my 30-day challenge with colleague Kimberly Click. Although yesterday morning it was painful to get up at 315 to get to 24-Hour Fitness Hawaii Kai, I did it. And my Facebook friends gave me mixed reax to my update of self pity. The night before I had too much wine and during the workout I was sweating out a hangover. By the time the 65-minute elliptical session was pau, so was the headache. But I did have to drink nearly two liters of water by the end of the day. I ❤ seltzer!

So yesterday was Weigh In Wednesday at our Weight Watchers at Work meeting. The digits are going in the right direction, DOWN, DOWN, DOWN! That’s despite the world being in the thick of the holidays and the snack cube at work is filled with expressions of gratitude such as pumpkin-ginger bread (I just had a slice), all kinds of cookies, brownies, scones, crackers and candy. It should be called the Cube of Sin, Temptation Cube, The Cube of Stretchy Waisted Pants, the Cube of Kiss-Your-Activity-Points Buh-bye!

The day before I weighed in, someone had brought in a homemade pumpkin cheese cake. The raves were so loud, that I gave in. And yes, it was THAT good. Then for dinner on Tuesday, I made the girls and I turkey in gravy over brown rice with zucchini and mushrooms sauteed with ginger and onions. I do believe if I had eaten a little more spartan on Tuesday, the scale would have given me the 10-pound loss that would have gotten me a little recognition at the meeting. Alas, it will have to wait until next week.

Stay tuned. It will!
