I have a friend who tells me that whenever I’m in someone’s crosshairs, it’s a good sign that I’m on the right track.
It isn’t a great feeling to be pushing the envelope, WHILE I’m pushing the envelope. It sometimes only feels good once I see the results in my personal growth and advancement, and when it is beneficial to many.
Pushing ourselves, whether to achieve physical fitness or professional advancement, is not as easy as sitting on our butts. So as I strive, there are those who would squash me. They’re like the resistant strips of rubber I use to exercise my healing foot. I need it to become stronger. Flex, repeat, flex, repeat. Repeat. Repeat.
So, if I’m in your crosshairs, thanks for contributing to my success.
strive on.
