Participate! A Timely Global Mosaic

I love this kind of stuff!
I plan on rolling out of bed early on Sunday, May 2, 2010, to take a picture on my iPhone and send it to the New York Times’ Lens Blog and upload it to this yet to be activated link: http://submit.nytimes.com/moment where it is expected many others will do at about the same time.
Intrigued? Here’s the story.
Every day I put a photo on Twitter and on Facebook as part of Project 365 because I like to show Hawaii as I see it. I pop in pix of the landscape, stuff I see happening, of my kids, or of me with some friends, or things that aren’t so nice but still part of Hawaii. I like to take pictures and write stories because it gives me an opportunity to meet people and talk to total strangers or people I’d like to get to know better.
It’s really helped me come out of my shell.
