#postaday, in a sense.
Just went through the worst couple of weeks. I will not dodge blame bullets. I can own that I created some of this mess. I now take all the time allotted for me to turn in articles. I’m rereading my rewrites. I THINK I’m out of the woods. Fortunately for me my husband and my family gave me the support I needed, as did a couple of friends.
I wrote messages in despair. I stopped playing Draw Something with my friends. I even had to back away from this blog. My heart was drained, my soul had emptied, my mind went blank. Then last night I got my aha moment, thanks to Hawaii Kai neighbor, Twitter, and Facebook friend Kelly Mitchell who updated on FB last night:
From Susan’s blog: “…Why would the Universe give us Mercury retrograde? Because to move forward it is sometimes necessary to backtrack and reconfigure our paths in life. It is important to reconsider, repair, reflect, and reconnect. Mercury forces us to slow down and fix what’s broken, and in so doing, rethink things. It also gives us time to get to projects we have put on the back-burner. …”

Paula you took the words right out of my mouth. My failed transmission, my brand new iPad marching to the beat of a different drummer and my not one, not two, but three attempts to get to the Robert Mondavi winery last weekend were finally destroyed by United causing an 8 hour flight delay that forced me to leave Sonoma a 1/2 day earlier. And those are just the things I remember. So glad we are through this. I’ll be planning my advance strategy for the next one! Love Susan Miller. Great post and thanks for letting me know I wasn’t the only one slipping in dog sh*t. 😉
heh heh. Yeah, it’s caused issues for me in the last couple of weeks, too. 🙂
